1. About merit
merit is a hiring platform that connects qualified Chartered Accountants with finance roles at large companies (GCCs/MNCs) operating in India. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be 18+ and authorised to use the work or institutional email you sign up with. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, bulk-export, or attempt to unmask candidate identities; not to misrepresent your identity, employer, or qualifications; and not to use merit to disintermediate the platform.
4. Data & privacy
Your use of merit is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
5. Fees
Some recruiter features require payment. Pricing, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented at the point of purchase.
6. Liability
merit is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not party to any employment contract that results from connections made on the platform.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email and the updated version date will be reflected at the top of this page.
